Job summary

Health Recruit Network in Carmarthen is seeking a Registered Manager to lead domiciliary care and supported living services. You will oversee day-to-day operations across a growing caseload and ensure high-quality care delivery.

The role requires approved Registered Manager status with Social Care Wales, NVQ 3/4 (level 5 pursued), and a full UK driving licence. You will manage a small team and work Monday–Friday with an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Must be approved as a Registered Manager with Social Care Wales.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Background working with dementia, autism, ADHD, bed-bound, and adults 18+.
• Strong IT, administration, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of domiciliary care and supported living services.
• Ensure full compliance with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) standards and safeguarding requirements.
• Lead and support the Deputy Manager, Care Coordinators, and wider care team.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, documentation, and audits.
• Manage on-call responsibilities shared with the Deputy Manager.
• Maintain strong relationships with service users, families, and professionals.

Job description

We are recruiting a Registered Manager to lead a young and growing care organisation in Carmarthen, delivering domiciliary care and supported living services across a combined caseload.

The service currently supports 17 service users across approximately 210 hours per week, with a small but dedicated team in place including a Deputy Manager and Care Coordinators. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced senior care professional ready to step up into a Registered Manager position.

Location: Carmarthen, South Wales

Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm, on-call shared with Deputy)

The Role
