Job summary

Universal Care Group is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead six supported accommodation homes for young people aged 16-17. You will oversee registration, ensure regulatory compliance, safeguarding, and high-quality person-centred support across the service.

You will drive quality assurance, staff development, and strong partnerships with authorities and commissioners to achieve outstanding outcomes for young people.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with looked-after children, care leavers, or vulnerable young people.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, risk management, and complex needs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the six supported accommodation homes.
• Oversee registration and ensure ongoing compliance with England regulations and Ofsted requirements.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people at all times.
