Job summary

Pin Point Healthcare in Lightwood, Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home registered with Ofsted, caring for up to four children with EBD. The role demands strong leadership, safeguarding knowledge and the ability to drive quality care.

Salary £55,000–£65,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities to influence strategic planning and service development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a residential children's home.
• Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and oversee day-to-day management of the home.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Quality Standards.
• Support and develop staff to maintain a professional and positive working environment.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centred care and positive outcomes for children.
• Build relationships with local authorities, social workers and professionals.
• Monitor care standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with directors on strategic planning and expansion.
