Job summary

This role requires leadership, Ofsted registration, and a track record of safeguarding excellence. Salary £50,000-£65,000, Mon-Fri, with pension and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience managing a children's residential home.
• Proven positive Ofsted inspection outcomes.
• Level 5 Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (completed or working towards).
• Level 3 or 4 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
• Experience supporting children with EBD and complex needs.
• Excellent safeguarding, leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to register with Ofsted.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the children\'s home.
• Ensure full Ofsted compliance and safeguarding standards.
• Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing care team.
• Deliver therapeutic, trauma-informed care and positive outcomes.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments and quality assurance.
• Build strong relationships with local authorities and professionals.
