Job summary

A2B Social Care Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Children's Manager to lead a 3-bed therapeutic EBD home based in Stoke-on-Trent. You will drive personalised care planning, oversee safeguarding and governance, and manage recruitment and staff development to meet Ofsted standards.

The role requires a Level 5/7 Diploma and at least 2 years of management experience with children in residential care, plus a driving licence. Salary is £55,000–£65,000 with extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 5 or 7 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children’s Residential or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' management experience working with children and young people in a residential setting.
• Driving licence is essential.

• Supervise and support the development of staff, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and service governance
• Manage recruitment, staff training, and development
• Achieve and maintain a "Good" or "Outstanding" rating from Ofsted

Requirements:

• Level 5 or 7 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children’s Residential or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' management experience working with children and young people within a residential environment.
• Driving Licence is essential

Salary:

£55,000 - £65,000 working full time Mon-Fri 9-5pm, plus extensive benefits package
