Job summary

Care First UK Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager stepping into their first Registered Manager role for a brand-new 3-bed Children's EBD home in Birmingham. The post offers a clear progression path and strong governance from a supportive leadership team.

The successful candidate will lead the setup, registration and ongoing development of the home, ensuring safeguarding, regulatory compliance and high-quality care for children and young people in Castle Bromwich,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in children's residential care.
• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and compliance.
• Experience supporting inspections and safeguarding processes.
• Level 5 Residential Childcare qualification or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, registration and ongoing development of the home.
• Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
• Work with the Responsible Individual to provide ongoing support.
• Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections.

Are you an experienced Deputy Manager looking to step into your first Registered Manager position?

We are recruiting on behalf of a supportive and ambitious provider launching a new 3-bed Children's EBD home in Birmingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join from the very beginning and play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and successful service for children and young people.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for leading the setup, registration and ongoing development of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance are maintained at all times.

You will work closely alongside an experienced Responsible Individual who has a strong track record within children's residential services and is committed to providing ongoing support.
