Job summary

Axiom Home Care in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a domiciliary service delivering care at home across Dacorum. You will build a culture of safety, quality and openness, manage the staff team, supervise compliance, and maintain strong relationships with clients and families to ensure excellent care.

You will have Level 5 Leadership and Management in Adult Care, a track record in CQC-regulated services, and hands-on experience with audits, care planning and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care achieved, or enrolled with completion within 18 months.
• Experience managing, or deputising in, a CQC-regulated adult social care service, ideally domiciliary care.
• Working knowledge of CQC standards, the Single Assessment Framework and Registered Manager responsibilities.
• Audit-led approach with actionable improvements, and clear evidence in records and audits.
• Accurate and honest record keeping reflecting actual delivered care.
• Confident, patient communication with clients and families, including difficult conversations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the staff team to deliver safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led domiciliary care.
• Maintain high standards of care and compliance, build relationships with clients and families.
• Oversee safety, safeguarding, risk management and incident learning.
• Manage on-call rota, rostering and office operations.
• Drive service growth and private-pay opportunities within the group.
