Job summary

Health Recruit Network is recruiting a Registered Manager to lead a large domiciliary and live-in care branch in Salisbury and surrounding areas. This senior role combines strategic leadership with hands-on service delivery within a strong management structure.

You will oversee about 4,500 care hours per week, drive recruitment and workforce planning, ensure CQC compliance, and build relationships with commissioners and local authorities.

Qualifications

• CQC registered as a Registered Manager is essential.
• Experience managing domiciliary care delivering at least 2,000 hours per week.
• Strong leadership and management experience in care services.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across domiciliary and live-in care services.
• Coach and develop the branch management team.

Registered Manager – Domiciliary & Live-in Care

Location: Salisbury / Durrington, Wiltshire

Salary: Up To £50,000 per annum

Hours: Full-Time

We are recruiting a Registered Manager to lead one of the largest domiciliary and live-in care branches in the region, currently delivering approximately 4,500 care hours per week across a 50/50 split of domiciliary and live-in care. This is a significant senior leadership role with a strong management structure already in place.

The Role

• Provide overall leadership across domiciliary and live-in care services
• Lead, coach, and develop the branch management team
• Maintain oversight of approximately 4,500 care hours per week
• Ensure CQC compliance, quality standards, and safeguarding across the service
• Drive recruitment, retention, and workforce planning
• Manage operational, quality, and financial performance against agreed KPIs
• Develop relationships with commissioners and local authority stakeholders
• Support the development and mobilisation of a new supported living provision
• Identify and deliver sustainable opportunities for branch growth

Requirements

• Currently CQC registered as a Registered Manager — essential
• Proven experience managing a domiciliary care service delivering a minimum of 2,000 care hours per week
• Strong domiciliary care management background — essential
• Supported living experience — desirable
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (attained or working towards)
• Experience leading and developing management teams
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
• Full UK driving licence — essential
• Commercially aware with evidence of delivering service growth

The Service

• Domiciliary and live-in care — 50/50 split
• Approximately 4,500 care hours per week
• Dedicated Live-in Care Manager in post
• Plans to expand into supported living
• Strong senior leadership team and branch support structure
