Social Care 2 Recruit is helping to recruit a Registered Manager for a domiciliary care service in Leigh, Manchester. This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive salary and the chance to lead service delivery in local homes.

Qualifications

• Current or previous experience as a Registered Manager within a domiciliary care setting is essential.
• Proven track record of growing a domiciliary care business and increasing capacity.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, Care Act 2014, and relevant legislation.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Excellent leadership and people management with ability to inspire a team.
• Strong business acumen with budgeting and resource planning experience.
• Ability to build relationships with commissioners and local authorities.
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
• Act as the CQC Registered Manager, maintaining compliance with regulations and standards.
• Drive growth and expansion, developing strategies to increase users and hours delivere.
• Build relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and commissioning bodies.
• Lead, manage and motivate care coordinators, senior carers and care workers to deliver person-centred care.
• Recruit, train and develop staff to meet company values and standards.
• Conduct regular supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings to support staff performance.
• Monitor budgets, financial performance and resources to achieve targets.
• Ensure care plans and risk assessments are up-to-date and well-documented.
• Lead and manage CQC inspections and respond to issues promptly.
• Investigate and resolve complaints, safeguarding concerns and incidents.
• Implement robust quality assurance systems to continuously improve care quality.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Manager to lead and manage our growing domiciliary care service based in Leigh, Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven professional to take ownership of a well-established care service and play a pivotal role in its continued growth and development.

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our service users in their own homes. You will act as the CQC Registered Manager and will be accountable for compliance, quality assurance, staff management, and business development.

• Act as the CQC Registered Manager, maintaining full compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and legislation
• Drive the growth and expansion of the business, developing strategies to increase the number of service users and hours delivere
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and commissioning bodies to generate new business opportunities
• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of care coordinators, senior carers, and care workers to deliver outstanding person-centred care
• Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring the workforce is skilled, competent, and aligned with the company's values and standards

Requirements

• Current or previous experience as a Registered Manager within a domiciliary care setting is essential
• Proven track record of successfully growing a domiciliary care business and increasing service capacity
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, the Care Act 2014, and all relevant legislation governing domiciliary care
• Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or be working towards it
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Strong business acumen with experience of managing budgets, financial performance, and resource planning
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with commissioners, local authorities, and healthcare professionals
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• A full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is desirable
• Enhanced DBS check will be required upon appointment
