Job summary

Active Care Group is recruiting a Registered Manager for Woodland Court, a specialist supported living service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, mental health needs and complex needs in Tandridge. You will lead 24-hour bespoke, person-centred care, drive regulatory compliance and maximise occupancy while managing budgets and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in adult health and social care management.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and governance frameworks.
• Understanding of MCA, DoLS and safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational performance and regulatory compliance of the service.
• Act as the CQC Registered Manager, ensuring ongoing compliance with legislation and standards.
• Provide visible leadership and delegating to deputies and senior staff.
• Drive a high-performing culture and area-wide governance activities (audits, incidents, safeguarding, learning reviews).
• Manage budgeting, staffing, and resource deployment to maximise occupancy and service quality.
• Oversee referrals, admissions, transitions and relationships with families, commissioners and professionals.
