Job summary

Active Care Group is recruiting a Registered Manager for Bethany House & Bethany Lodge in Dymchurch. You will lead two complex care services for adults with neurological and other health needs, ensuring safe, effective, compassionate, person-centred care.

You’ll oversee quality, staffing, budgets and regulatory compliance, while building strong relationships with families, commissioners and professionals to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Level 5 leadership and management qualification for adult social care.
• Substantial management experience in health or social care environments.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding requirements.
• Experience leading teams within regulated care settings.
• Proven ability to manage quality, staffing and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day performance, quality and regulatory compliance for two services.
• Maintain high standards of safe, person-centred care.
• Provide visible leadership and support colleagues across teams.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, retention, training and development.
• Manage budgets, resources and operational performance.
• Build relationships with residents, families, commissioners and professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement via audits and action plans.
• Support referrals and admissions while ensuring CQC readiness.
• Participate in on-call management arrangements.
