Job summary

Leaders in Care is recruiting a Registered Manager for a brand new children’s residential home in the UK. You will lead day‑to‑day operations, safeguarding, care planning, and team development to create a high‑quality service for up to three children with EBD and complex needs.

The role offers autonomy from day one, with support from an experienced leadership team and a salary up to £70,000.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience managing a children's residential home.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children's home legislation.
• Experience supporting children with EBD and complex needs.
• Strong safeguarding, care planning, compliance and QA understanding.
• Experience leading, managing and developing a team.

Brand New Children's Residential Home | Up to 3 Children | EBD & Complex Needs | Up to £70,000

Registered Manager Permanent | Up to £70,000 We're supporting the launch of a brand new children's residential home and are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the service on a permanent basis.

The home will support up to three children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and complex needs, offering an opportunity to play a key role in establishing and developing a high-quality service from day one.

As Registered Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, working closely with the Responsible Individual and wider leadership team. You'll help shape the service, build a strong team and ensure the home provides a safe, supportive environment that meets the needs of the young people.

You'll provide leadership across safeguarding, care planning, staff management, compliance and quality assurance, while ensuring the home is prepared to meet and maintain Ofsted standards.

What We're Looking For

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or equivalent
• Previous experience managing a children's residential home
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children's home legislation
• Experience supporting children with EBD and complex needs
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, care planning, compliance and quality assurance
• Experience leading, managing and developing a team
• Ability to establish a positive culture and maintain high standards of care
