Job summary

Delphi Care Solutions Ltd in North West London is seeking a Registered Manager for a brand-new 2-bed EBD home. You’ll lead from registration through to welcoming the first young person, building your own team and setting the service standards.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the culture, recruit a high-quality staff team and influence outcomes from day one, with strong support from an experienced leadership group.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or close to completion).
• Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Experience supporting young people with EBD.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge.
• Ambition, resilience and genuine passion for positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Securing Ofsted registration.
• Recruiting and developing a high-quality staff team.
• Creating a safe, nurturing and structured environment for young people.
• Building relationships with local authorities and commissioners.
• Driving occupancy.
• Ensuring outstanding safeguarding standards.
• Managing budgets, staffing and overall performance.
• Leading the home towards a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll lead every aspect of the home's journey from registration through to a successful and thriving service.

This includes:

Who we're Looking For

You may already be a Registered Manager looking for a fresh challenge.

Or you could be an experienced Deputy Manager who knows they're ready for their first registration.

Either way, you'll need:

• Level 5 Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or be close to completion)
• Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
• Experience supporting young people with EBD
• A proven ability to lead and develop teams
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge
• Ambition, resilience and a genuine passion for achieving positive outcomes
