Job summary

A2B Social Care Recruitment Ltd in Liverpool is offering an opportunity for an experienced Registered Children's Manager to lead a 3-bed therapeutic EBD home. You will ensure personalised care plans, supervise staff, handle recruitment and training, and drive compliance with safeguarding and Ofsted regulations.

The role is full-time, Mon-Fri, 9-5, with a comprehensive benefits package. Salary ranges from £50,000 to £65,000 depending on experience, with additional benefits and progression

Qualifications

• Level 5 or 7 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children’s Residential or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' management experience working with children and young people in a residential setting.
• Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Children’s Home and adhere to Ofsted framework.
• Ensure personalised care plans meeting each child’s needs.
• Supervise staff, safeguarding, and governance.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and staff development.
• Aiming for Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Children’s Home, adhering to the Statement of Purpose and Ofsted regulatory framework
• Ensure personalised care plans that meet the individual needs of the child
• Supervise and support the development of staff, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and service governance
• Manage recruitment, staff training, and development
• Achieve and maintain a "Good" or "Outstanding" rating from Ofsted

Requirements

• Level 5 or 7 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children’s Residential or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' management experience working with children and young people within a residential environment.
• Driving Licence is essential

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 working full time Mon-Fri 9-5pm, plus extensive benefits package
