Job summary

A2B Social Care Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Children's Manager to lead a 3-bed therapeutic EBD home in Leicester. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure high-quality care plans, and drive staff performance and safeguarding governance.

The role requires a Level 5/7 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children’s Residential or equivalent, plus at least two years of senior management experience with children and young people in residential settings.

Qualifications

• Level 5 or 7 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children’s Residential or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' management experience working with children and young people within a residential environment.
• Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Children’s Home, ensuring adherence to the Statement of Purpose and Ofsted framework.
• Ensure personalised care plans that meet the individual needs of the child.
• Supervise and support staff development, ensuring safeguarding and service governance compliance.
• Manage recruitment, staff training and development.
• Aim for a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.

• Manage recruitment, staff training, and development
• Achieve and maintain a "Good" or "Outstanding" rating from Ofsted

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 working full time Mon-Fri 9-5pm, plus extensive benefits package
