Job summary

A2B Social Care Recruitment Ltd, based in Slough, is recruiting an experienced Registered Children’s Manager to lead a 3-bed therapeutic EBD home. The role focuses on high-quality care and regulatory compliance within a dynamic residential setting.

You will develop personalised care plans, supervise staff, uphold safeguarding and governance, and drive recruitment and staff development to achieve Good or Outstanding Ofsted results.

Qualifications

• Level 5/7 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children’s Residential or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ management experience with children/young people in residential care.
• A valid driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Children’s Home, aligning with the Statement of Purpose and Ofsted framework.
• Ensure personalised care plans meeting individual needs of each child.
• Supervise and support staff development, uphold safeguarding and governance standards.
• Oversee recruitment, training and staff development activities.
• Strive for Ofsted rating of Good or Outstanding.

A2B Social Care Recruitment have a superb opportunity for an experienced Registered Children's Manager provide care & support in a 3 bed therapeutic EBD home based in Slough

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a Children's Home, adhering to the Statement of Purpose and Ofsted regulatory framework
• Ensure personalised care plans that meet the individual needs of the child
• Supervise and support the development of staff, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and service governance
• Manage recruitment, staff training, and development
• Achieve and maintain a "Good" or "Outstanding" rating from Ofsted

Requirements:

• Level 5 or 7 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children's Residential or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' management experience working with children and young people within a residential environment.
• Driving Licence is essential

Salary:

£55,000 - £65,000 working full time Mon-Fri 9-5pm, plus extensive benefits package
