CareerMakers are recruiting for an experienced Children’s Registered Manager to lead a Children's Residential Care Home in the heart of Manchester, providing exceptional care and support for children & young people with various needs. The home is part of a well-established care provider, recognised for delivering outstanding care across children's and adult services.

• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s residential home.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, inspections and compliance.

Position: Registered Manager – Children's
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (Dependent on experience) + £5000 bonus
Hours: Full time

CareerMakers are recruiting for an experienced Children's Registered Manager to lead a Children's Residential Care Home in the heart of Manchester, providing exceptional care and support for children & young people with various needs.

The home is part of a well-established care provider, recognised for delivering outstanding care across children's and adult services. As the Children's Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance, while leading and developing the team to establish a successful, high-performing service.

Responsibilities as a Registered Manager:

• Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care and support for children and young people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
• Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding requirements, and quality standards while driving continuous service improvement.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, professionals, and external agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes and promote independence.

Requirements as a Registered Manager:

• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent or willing to work towards)
• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential home
• Strong working knowledge of Ofsted regulations, inspections, and compliance requirements
