Job summary

Cambian Group Plc in Spalding is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed Children’s Complex Care home, drive care excellence, and develop a high-performing team. You will develop tailored care plans, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance in Ofsted-regulated settings.

Essential experience includes supervisory roles in children’s residential care, Level 5 leadership qualifications, and a full UK driving license. A career with CareTech family offers development and rewards.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 2 years in residential care for children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in last 5 years.
• Full UK driving license.
• Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF and childcare legislation.
• Strong planning, budgeting, and team leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop Comprehensive Care Plans tailored to each young person.
• Build and lead a strong, sustainable care team.
• Consult with young people about care they receive.
• Assign Key Workers and implement care plans.
• Maintain high standards aligned with National Minimum Standards.
• Handle complaints and safeguarding concerns.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and professionals.
• Attend care planning and review meetings.
• Promote safe culture and effective budget management.
