Job summary

Tudor Employment Agency Ltd in Leicester LE5 is recruiting a Registered Manager to lead the support and accommodation team caring for children and young people aged 8-18 with EBD. The role focuses on safe, personalised care and compliant operation of the 3-bed home.

You will supervise staff, develop individual support plans, collaborate with social workers and schools, monitor safeguarding, and manage budgets and records to ensure high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience supporting children and young people with EBD.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized support plans.
• Excellent communication with young people, families, staff and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the support and accommodation facility.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of caregivers and support staff to deliver tailored care.
• Promote empathy, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Develop, implement and review personalized support plans addressing emotional and developmental needs.
• Foster a safe, positive, therapeutic living environment that supports growth and well-being.
• Support young people in transitioning to independence and life skills.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding protocols and Children’s Homes Regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain high standards of care.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with social workers, healthcare providers, therapists, and schools.
