Job summary

TDA Care Solutions in London is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead an EBD children’s residential home. You will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure high standards of care and safeguarding for young people.

We welcome applications from those with a proven track record in children's residential care, including Deputy Managers ready to step up. You will lead staff, ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements, and foster a therapeutic, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in children's residential care.
• Experience in a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or Senior role.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and Ofsted requirements.
• Desirable Level 3 or Level 5 qualifications in Residential Childcare/Leadership.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of the children's residential home.
• Lead, support and develop a team of residential childcare workers.
• Ensure high-quality, child-centred care and safeguarding.
• Support young people with EBD, challenging behaviour and complex needs.
• Maintain compliance with safeguarding, legislation and Ofsted requirements.
• Complete and maintain care plans, risk assessments, and records.
• Collaborate with social workers, education providers, families and professionals.
• Support recruitment, supervision, and staff development.
