Job summary

YourRecruit Ltd. is seeking a Registered Manager for a 2-bed EBD children’s residential home in Leicester.

You will lead the home, develop the team and ensure children and young people receive the stability, support and care they need to thrive. The role requires prior management experience in children’s residential settings, strong safeguarding and regulatory knowledge, and experience supporting children with EBD.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in a children’s residential setting.
• Strong safeguarding and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience supporting children and young people with EBD.
• Level 5 Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or working towards.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the care team.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and care.
• Oversee care plans, risk assessments and placement planning.
• Ensure compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Provide effective supervision, support and training.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
• Monitor quality and drive continuous improvement.
• Support the home to maintain and build on its Good Ofsted rating.
