Job summary

Pin Point Health & Social Care is seeking a Registered Manager for a brand-new children's home in Hartlepool. You will lead day-to-day operations, shape a new service and build a dedicated team to provide high-quality care for ages 10-17 with EBD.

The role requires Ofsted familiarity, strong leadership and a commitment to improving outcomes. The home will operate Monday–Friday, with salary £50,000–£55,000 and an enhanced benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' residential childcare experience.
• Experience at senior or management level.
• Level 5 Management qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• Good knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and SCCIF.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities

Registered Manager - Children's Home

Location: Hartlepool

Salary: £50,000-£55,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager, or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up, to lead a brand-new children's residential home in Hartlepool.

The home will support children and young people aged 10-17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an excellent opportunity to shape a new service from the outset, build your own team and create a positive, child-centred environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the home, including:

• Supporting the Ofsted registration and inspection process
• Recruiting, managing and developing the staff team
• Ensuring high standards of safeguarding and care
• Maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
• Managing budgets and operational resources
• Building relationships with local authorities, families and professionals
• Promoting positive outcomes for children and young people

About You

We are looking for someone with:
