Joining Careers Education are seeking a Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home in the United Kingdom. You will ensure a safe, nurturing environment and oversee day-to-day operations, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.

You will manage a motivated team, budgets, and resources, while driving continuous improvement and ensuring the home’s statement of purpose is fulfilled. A strong leadership background in care is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in children’s residential care management.
• Experience in an LD/EBD home is desirable.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to providing a nurturing and empowering environment.
• Hold a NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s and Young People’s Workforce.
• Hold a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or be willing to undertake it.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

We have an opportunity for a Registered Manager to join our team to ensure exceptional care and a nurturing environment for our young people in our childrens home.

As a Registered Manager, you will support young people in the many different aspects of daily life within our homes including:

• Manage a warm and friendly home that is a safe and supportive environment for our children and young people to achieve positive outcomes authentic to them
• Ensure compliance with the Childrens Homes Regulations and deliver high-quality care.
• Lead and inspire a motivated team, providing guidance and support.
• Manage budgets, resources, and the home environment.
• Safeguard young people and liaise with professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home's statement of purpose is fulfilled.
