Job summary

Recruit Me Care Ltd is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home in the UK. You will oversee daily life, ensure regulatory compliance and drive high-quality care for young people.

You will lead a dedicated team, manage budgets and resources, and safeguard young people while liaising with professionals to achieve positive outcomes. A strong commitment to safeguarding and development is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in children's residential care management.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to providing a nurturing and empowering environment.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s and Young People’s Workforce.
• QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children’s Services or willingness to undertake this qualification.

Job description

As a Registered Manager, you will support young people in the many different aspects of daily life within the homes including:

• Manage a warm and friendly home that is a safe and supportive environment for our children and young people to achieve positive outcomes authentic to them
• Ensure compliance with the Childrens Homes Regulations and deliver high-quality care.
• Lead and inspire a motivated team, providing guidance and support.
• Manage budgets, resources, and the home environment.
• Safeguard young people and liaise with professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home's statement of purpose is fulfilled.

What we're looking for from you:

• Extensive experience in children's residential care management.
• A strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A commitment to providing a nurturing and empowering environment.
• You hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children's and Young People's Workforce
• You also hold your QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children's Services or be willing to undertake this qualification as part of the role.
• Hold a full UK driving license
• have a clean DBS
• Have the right to work in the Uk
