Job summary

Recruit Me Care Ltd in Walsall is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a children’s home and provide a safe, nurturing environment for young people, helping them achieve positive outcomes.

You will drive safeguarding, ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations, manage budgets and resources, lead a motivated team, supervise induction and CPD, liaise with professionals, and uphold the home’s statement of purpose. Qualifications

• Extensive experience in children’s residential care management.
• Experience in an LD/EBD home is desirable.
• Strong understanding of legislation and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Hold NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s and Young People’s Workforce; QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management or willingness to undertake.

Recruit Me Care are recruiting for a Registered Manager in Walsall to join a team to ensure exceptional care and a nurturing environment for young people in the childrens home.

As a Registered Manager, you will support young people in the many different aspects of daily life within the home including:

• Manage a warm and friendly home that is a safe and supportive environment for our children and young people to achieve positive outcomes authentic to them
• Ensure compliance with the Childrens Homes Regulations and deliver high-quality care.
• Lead and inspire a motivated team, providing guidance and support.
• Manage budgets, resources, and the home environment.
• Safeguard young people and liaise with professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home's statement of purpose is fulfilled.

What we're looking for from you

• Extensive experience in children's residential care management.

• You hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children's and Young People's Workforce
• You also hold your QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children's Services or be willing to undertake this qualification as part of the role.
• Hold a full UK driving license
