Job summary

Sgs-Care-Ltd in Burntwood, Staffordshire is looking for a Registered Manager to run a warm, 4-bed children’s home for young people aged 8–17 with EBD. The role offers a supportive environment where every young person can achieve positive outcomes that are personal to them.

You will ensure compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations, lead and inspire a dedicated team, manage budgets and the home environment, safeguard young people, liaise with professionals, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willing to undertake).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Extensive experience in children’s residential care management.
• Experience in an LD/EBD home desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations and deliver high-quality care.
• Lead and inspire a motivated team.
• Manage budgets, resources and the home environment.
• Safeguard young people, liaising with professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
