Job summary

SGS Care Ltd in Burnley is seeking a Registered Manager for a 4-bed children's home, 37.5 hours a week, permanent full-time, with a salary of £51,500–£60,000 per year plus a £7,500 welcome bonus.

You will ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations, lead a motivated team, manage budgets, safeguard young people, and work with professionals to drive continuous improvement in line with the home's Statement of Purpose.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce.
• QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management or willing to study towards it.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Extensive experience in children's residential care management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and run a warm, safe, and supportive home for young people.
• Ensure compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations.
• Inspire and manage a motivated team and safeguard young people.
• Oversee budgets and resources and work with professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement in line with the home's Statement of Purpose.
