Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Registered Manager to launch and lead a new specialist children’s residential home in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. You will recruit, mentor, and build a high-performing, child-centred team in a semi-rural setting.

You will oversee Ofsted registration, safeguarding, and therapeutic care plans, working with clinical psychology support to ensure high-quality outcomes for children aged 6 to 17.

Formación

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Experience as Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in an Ofsted-registered children’s home for EBD.
• In-depth knowledge of Ofsted inspection frameworks, safeguarding legislation, and therapeutic care principles.
• Full UK Driving Licence due to semi-rural location.

Responsabilidades

• Setting up and leading the new service, including recruitment, mentoring, and developing a high-performing, child-centred team.
• Leading the registration process with Ofsted, ensuring full compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 to achieve a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' rating.
• Managing referrals and admissions, ensuring children and young people are matched to promote stability and positive outcomes.
• Collaborating with clinically trained staff to embed therapeutic practice across all aspects of care.
• Working closely with visiting clinical psychologists to review care plans and support staff development.
• Overseeing safeguarding procedures using digital safeguarding systems to maintain maximum safety and compliance.

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to lead the launch of a new specialist children’s residential home in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. This role offers the chance to shape a pioneering 3-bed service supporting children and young people aged 6 to 17, within a beautiful semi-rural setting. You will be at the forefront of establishing a high-quality, therapeutic environment, backed by an experienced operational team.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Proven leadership experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within an Ofsted-registered children’s residential home supporting children with EBD.
• In-depth knowledge of Ofsted inspection frameworks, safeguarding legislation, and therapeutic care principles.
• A Full UK Driving Licence due to the semi-rural location.
