Children’s Home Registered Manager Wanted – Winchester Area

Salary: Up to £, p/a + Benefits

Full-Time | Permanent Position

Are you an experienced leader in children's residential care? Do you have the drive to establish and lead a new home to excellence?

We are seeking a Registered Manager to take the lead at our brand-new, four-bedded EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) children’s home in the Winchester area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, ambitious individual who thrives in building strong teams and setting up high-quality residential care services from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the registration and opening of a new EBD children’s home

Manage and develop a dedicated care team

Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and children's legislation

Drive a child-centred, therapeutic, and safeguarding-first culture

Deliver excellence in care, achieving positive outcomes for young people

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Registered Manager (or Deputy Manager ready for the next step)

Proven track record in setting up or managing new children’s homes

NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children & Young People’s Services) or equivalent

Deep understanding of EBD and trauma-informed care approaches

Strong leadership skills with a positive, ambitious attitude
