Diamond Search Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a new children’s residential home in Sutton Coldfield. The role focuses on delivering outstanding care, safeguarding, and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

You will oversee regulatory compliance, develop staff, and drive high-quality care within a supportive team, with a strong progression pathway and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a children's residential setting.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and regulatory compliance understanding.
• Familiarity with Ofsted frameworks and quality standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to complete Level 5 Diploma within 2 years if not held.
• Experience developing staff and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a children's residential home in line with regulatory standards.

• Ensure safeguarding, welfare and safety are of the highest standard.

• Manage budgets, resources and home maintenance.
• Complete mandatory training and staff compliance.
• Maintain Ofsted registration and DBS Update Service status.

Diamond Search are recruiting on behalf of a growing children's residential care provider for an exceptional Registered Manager to lead a new home in Sutton Coldfield. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a children's residential home in line with Children's Homes Regulations (England) 2015
• Maintain and strive for Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
• Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, welfare and safety
• Create a nurturing, stable and positive environment for children and young people
• Develop and maintain Care Plans, Risk Assessments and behaviour support strategies
• Recruit, lead, supervise and develop a high-performing staff team
• Plan activities, events and experiences tailored to individual needs
• Manage budgets, resources and home maintenance
• Complete all mandatory training and ensure staff compliance
• Maintain Ofsted registration and DBS Update Service status
• Report safeguarding and compliance matters to senior leadership

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven leadership experience within a children's residential setting
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection and regulatory compliance
• Knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and quality standards
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete within 2 years)
