Job summary

Domus Recruitment is assisting a family-run elderly care provider to recruit an experienced Registered Manager to lead a small to medium-sized home. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure high standards of care and support service development.

The role requires a proven track record in elderly care, strong CQC knowledge, and the ability to motivate and develop staff. NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards it) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Registered Manager in an elderly care setting.
• Proven track record in leading a care team.
• Strong understanding of CQC requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in dementia care and a passion for supporting older people.
• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or working towards it).

Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to join a well-established, family-run elderly care provider.

We are seeking a confident care home leader with a strong track record in elderly care to take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of a small to medium-sized service, ensuring high standards of care and supporting the continued development of the home.

The service is stable, has excellent staff retention and was rated Good at its most recent CQC inspection.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Manager

• Leading, motivating and developing a committed care team

• Ensuring compliance with CQC and all relevant legislation

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Registered Manager within an elderly care setting.
• Proven experience managing and leading a care team.
• Strong understanding of CQC requirements and regulatory compliance.

• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or working towards it)
