Job summary

OakGar Recruitment is partnering with a leading care specialist to recruit a Registered Manager for a domiciliary/homecare service in Leatherhead and surrounding areas. The service focuses on elderly and dementia care, emphasising person-centred support and strong team leadership.

You will lead and coach staff, manage rosters and budgets, and ensure high-quality outcomes in line with CQC regulations. A proven background in registered or supported living services and excellent people skills are

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate teams.
  • Experience as a Registered Manager in domiciliary/homecare or supported living.
  • Knowledge of delivering care to elderly and dementia populations.
  • Proven track record in coaching, performance management and staff development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with the Service Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate and inspire teams to provide outstanding support through training and leadership by example.
  • Oversee rostering, support plans, staff deployment and budgets to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and drive quality assurance and service improvement.

Are you looking for a Registered Manager position where you can make a difference in the lives of others?

We have an exciting opportunity with a leading care specialist who are looking for a Registered Manager to oversee their Domiciliary / Homecare Service in Leatherhead and the surrounding areas. This service specialises in supporting the elderly and people with dementia, so experience within this client group would be required. In return, there is an opportunity to work for an ever-growing organisation who really put the needs of the individuals first.

The successful Registered Manager will be responsible for:
  • * Motivating and inspiring your teams to provide outstanding support through effective training, coaching and leadership by example.
  • * Acting as a role model and leader in the delivery of active support, you will empower the people you support to have active and fulfilling lives aligned with their needs and aspirations.
  • * Working collaboratively with the other members of the Service Leadership Team you will help to oversee and manage the smooth running of this service including rostering, support plans, staff deployment and managing budgets and operational tasks.

Requirements of a Registered Manager:
  • * Having a strong understanding of best practice in delivering support to people with different needs and a passion for doing so.
  • * Having experience of management of registered or supported living services including appraisals, coaching, performance management, managing budgets and financial information, as well as ensuring an inclusive working environment.
  • * You will have excellent communication and people management skills and have knowledge and an excellent understanding of current CQC regulations and compliance within the new framework with a proven track record of quality assurance and service improvement.
  • * Demonstrate passion and commitment to excellent support and quality.
