Job Opportunity: Registered Manager

Join an established service for adults with autism and complex needs aged 18-65 in a residential setting in Neath Port Talbot.

Details:
  • Location: Port Talbot
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Shift Times: Full Time
About the Organisation:

A leading not-for-profit organisation in South West Wales providing residential services for individuals with learning difficulties and complex needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high-quality care, support, and accommodation
  • Maintain compliance with CIW and County Council requirements through monitoring and action planning
  • Complete and submit 6-month quality of care reports
  • Support responsible individual's visits and ensure legislative compliance
  • Audit care documentation and staff files
  • Provide team support, guidance, and mentoring
  • Participate in inspections and compliance activities
  • Update and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Conduct staff supervision and appraisals
Requirements:
  • Operational experience in care environments with staff management
  • Ability to handle emotionally challenging situations and support work experience
  • Experience managing multiple small care homes for young people
  • High resilience and emotional intelligence
  • Supervision of residential staff and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Relevant qualifications for approval as a registered manager (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care)
  • Experience as a Home Manager, Service Manager, or Responsible Individual in adult residential services
