We're looking for a Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care service in Plymouth, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety and compliance. We need someone who's hands-on, organised, and passionate about developing their team while making sure every service user receives the person-centred care they deserve.

What you'll be doing

• Leading care operations
• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service
• Ensuring care is delivered safely, effectively, and in line with CQC regulations
• Carrying out regular audits, risk assessments and care reviews
• Making sure care plans are accurate, up to date and tailored to each individual's needs
• Maintaining quality and compliance
• Ensuring the service meets CQC standards and all relevant legislative requirements
• Responding to safeguarding concerns, incidents and complaints promptly and effectively
• Promoting a strong culture of safeguarding, accountability and person-centred care
• Working with healthcare professionals, families and other stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for service users
• Leading and developing your team
• Managing, mentoring and developing care staff
• Overseeing recruitment, induction and training to ensure the service has the right people in place
• Creating a positive team culture focused on high standards and quality care
• Promoting Nurseplus' values and maintaining our reputation within the local community
• Managing the business
• Managing budgets and resources to support efficient service delivery
• Balancing quality of care with financial responsibility
• Being available for on-call duties as required

What we're looking for

• CQC Registered Manager status, or a willingness to register upon appointment
• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care, or an equivalent qualification
• At least 2 years' management experience within domiciliary care or a similar care setting
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance
• Experience managing budgets and ensuring financial efficiency
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• A genuine passion for delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care
