Job summary

Sgs-Care-Ltd is recruiting a Registered Manager for a two-bed children's home in Sway/Lymington. The role is full-time and requires leading a team to provide stable, therapeutic care for two children with complex emotional needs. A strong understanding of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 is essential.

We are seeking an experienced manager or an ambitious deputy ready to step up. Driving licence is required, with ongoing professional development and a supportive leadership team behind you.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading or deputising in a registered children's home.
  • Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
  • Ability to support and develop a small team in a calm, child-centred environment.

Solid experience within residential children's homes, including managing or deputising in a registered home

Who we are looking for:

An experienced Registered Manager, or an ambitious Deputy ready to take the next step, who wants to lead a small, calm, child-centred home and genuinely change young lives. You'll need a strong working knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards, a natural ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team, excellent communication, organisation, and decision‑making skills, and a full UK driving licence. Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties and delivering therapeutic models such as PACE/DDP would be desirable.
