Overview
Registered Manager in Macclesfield, responsible for leading a solo Children’s Residential Home for Children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This role requires a strong focus on safeguarding, therapeutic care, and positive outcomes, with a solid understanding of Ofsted regulations and team management experience.

Salary
£55,000 – £63,000 per year (depending on experience, qualifications, previous registration history, and size of the home).
Responsibilities
- Lead a solo EBD provision with a strong focus on safeguarding, therapeutic care and positive outcomes.
- Create a stable and nurturing environment for young people.
- Manage and develop a team, ensuring high standards of care and staff wellbeing.
- Interpret and apply Ofsted regulations and house policies.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Willingness to complete or hold a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in a senior role within children’s EBD care.
- Leadership or management experience within a children’s home.
Training & Development
- Support towards Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications.
- Ongoing professional development and structured support.
