Lansdowne Housing & Care Ltd is already an established provider of housing working with Local Authorities in West London. We are now expanding into additional care and support services for vulnerable and disabled groups, including children and young people. With newly established offices in the beautiful natural surroundings of Brentford Lock, newly developed and ready to go children's homes, and further projects underway, we're aiming to put together high-quality professional teams, to drive our business model forward.

Our Needs:

We are seeking an Ofsted Registered Manager, to successfully manage two purpose-built children's homes in West London. Are you a Registered Manager looking for a new and exciting challenge? Ready to take the lead in shaping the future of children's residential care?

The Role:

We are currently looking to recruit a Registered Manager to join our Children's Home (SEBD) on a permanent basis working 40 hours per week.

• Demonstrate a passion and commitment to excellent care and quality, both in terms of service delivery and in terms of outcomes for young people.
• Obtain successful registration with Ofsted (fit persons test/interview)
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures and all regulations and standards at all time
• Comply with Safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times and promote an honest and open culture
• Develop the staff team’s knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices and processes
• Demonstrate strong and effective leadership and people management at all times
• Inspire, motivate, and build a highly skilled and engaged workforce with a strong commitment to nurturing staff potential and developing skills
• Ensure that resources, including staff, are effectively deployed to optimise service delivery
• Demonstrate excellent communication with all internal and external stakeholders
• Be accountable for effectively managing financial performance and for meeting and, where possible, exceeding agreed targets
• Lead a culture of continuous improvement and development with a strong focus on best practice
• Proactively seek opportunities for innovation in order to maintain sustainable and resilient business
• Acknowledge, celebrate, and share success
• Have exceptional leadership and management skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant Children’s Home legislation and Ofsted Regulation
• Currently hold or have previously held a registration with Ofsted as a Registered Manager (Preferred)
• Have experience in working within Children's Homes for at-least 2 years in the last 5 years including staff management and supervisory experience.
• Level 5 Qualification - Health and Social Care, Leadership and Management, or Residential Children’s Care and Management, (or equivalent (Preferred)
