Job summary

Brook Street Social Care is recruiting a Registered Children's Home Manager (EBD) for a 2-bed home in Liverpool. You will lead the home’s operations, drive safeguarding and regulatory compliance, and build a skilled, stable team to deliver high-quality care.

You will oversee care planning, risk management and liaison with families and professionals, aiming for Good/Outstanding outcomes and a compassionate, resilient leadership style.

Qualifications

• Experience leading in an Ofsted-regulated children's residential setting.
• Strong safeguarding and quality improvement mindset.
• Ability to recruit, motivate and retain an exceptional staff team.

Registered Children's Home Manager (EBD)

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum plus excellent bonus package

Brook Street Social Care is hiring for a reputed client and we're looking for an experienced, ambitious and child-centred Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed EBD children's home in Liverpool.

What you'll be doing as the Registered Manager:

• Taking ownership of the home's leadership, quality and day-to-day operation
• Ensuring excellent standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance
• Recruiting, developing and inspiring a strong residential team-where stability matters
• Overseeing care planning and risk management, keeping young people at the heart of every decision
• Building positive relationships with families and professionals
• Confidently leading the home through Ofsted inspections

What you'll bring as the Registered Manager:

• Management/deputy management experience within an Ofsted-regulated children's residential setting
• The Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or an accepted equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
• Understanding of young people's needs and behaviours within an EBD setting
• A safeguarding, compliance and quality improvement mindset
• The ability to recruit, motivate and retain an exceptional staff team
• Ambition to achieve Good and Outstanding outcomes-and to lead with compassion, resilience, integrity and accountability

Additional information:

• £60,000 - £70,000 per annum plus performance bonus up to £10,000 (quality, outcomes, team stability and regulatory performance)
• Potential Ofsted Excellence Bonus up to £2,500 for an Outstanding judgement
