Job summary

Leaders in Care is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 40-bed residential care home in Hereford. You will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality, person-centred care and maintain CQC standards while supporting a long-standing staff team.

This role offers £50,000 to £55,000 per annum depending on experience, with strong leadership support from an Area Manager and opportunities for ongoing professional development within a well-established organisation.

Qualifications

• Qualified to NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Adult Care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and safeguarding.
• Experience in elderly residential or nursing care management.

Are you an experienced care leader looking to join a well-established home with a long-standing staffing team and a consistently strong CQC inspection history?

Our client is seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a welcoming, 40-bed residential care home in Hereford. This is an excellent opportunity to build on strong foundations, supporting an experienced team to deliver compassionate, person-centred care for older people.

The Role As Registered Manager, you will:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, maintaining high standards of care, safety and compliance.
• Lead, support and develop a settled, long-standing staffing team.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals.
• Maintain the home’s consistently strong CQC inspection standards.
• Drive continuous improvement while preserving the positive culture of the home.
• Ensure residents receive dignified care tailored to their individual needs.

About You

• An experienced Registered Manager within elderly residential or nursing care, or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up.
• Qualified to NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Adult Care, or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable about CQC requirements, safeguarding and effective care home management.
• A confident, approachable leader who can motivate a team and maintain a positive working environment.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care for older people.
