Job summary

Domus Recruitment is partnering with a private domiciliary care provider in Hereford to recruit an experienced or aspiring Registered Manager. You will lead a small, established branch, shape the service, and support a close-knit team while fostering strong relationships with private clients and their families.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in domiciliary or live-in care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality assurance.
• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
• Commercial awareness to support private home care growth.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of a CQC registered domiciliary care service.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a small office and care team.
• Maintain CQC compliance, governance, quality assurance and care planning.
• Build trusted relationships with private clients, families and healthcare professionals to ensure outstanding care.
• Develop relationships with hospitals, GP surgeries and community organisations to generate private referrals.
• Support branch growth by promoting the company’s reputation for outstanding care.

Registered Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day operation of a CQC registered domiciliary care service, ensuring safe, person-centred and high quality care.
• Recruit, mentor and develop a small office and care team, creating a positive culture where people feel valued and supported.
• Maintain excellent standards of CQC compliance, governance, quality assurance and care planning.
• Build trusted relationships with private clients, their families and healthcare professionals, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
• Develop relationships with local hospitals, GP surgeries, community organisations and other healthcare professionals to generate private enquiries and referrals.
• Support the growth of the branch by identifying opportunities within the local community and promoting the company's reputation for delivering outstanding care.

Registered Manager Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager within domiciliary or live-in care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance and quality assurance.
• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
• Commercial awareness with the ability to support the growth of a private home care service.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
