As the Registered Manager / Operations Manager, you will act as the CQC Registered Manager for a specialist respite service and ensure the service remains compliant with CQC regulations, the Health and Social Care Act, Fundamental Standards and internal policies.
You will lead on audits, quality assurance, risk management, care planning and safeguarding standards, while maintaining a safe, well-led, caring, responsive and effective service.
You will oversee the daily running of respite care, day care and related service operations, ensuring service users receive person-centred, safe and high-quality care. This will include managing referrals, assessments, care plans, reviews, risk assessments, occupancy, care outcomes and operational performance.
You will also support the safe and efficient coordination of client transport, working closely with coordinators, drivers, support staff and senior team members to ensure services run smoothly.
A key part of the role will involve leading staff teams, providing supervision, appraisals, coaching and performance support, while promoting a positive, accountable and professional working culture.
You will maintain accurate records using care management systems and report to senior management on staffing, occupancy, compliance, transport and service performance. You will also support continuous improvement, budget awareness, cost control and service development.
