Job summary

Domus Recruitment is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead an established domiciliary care service in Gloucester, currently delivering 900 hours of care per week. You will be supported by an Operations Director and a dedicated office team to focus on performance and quality.

The role requires an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, a full UK driving licence, and a hands-on leadership style to promote a positive culture while ensuring CQC compliance and consistent

Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day operations of an established domiciliary care service.
• Managing and developing the office and care teams to maintain quality and drive performance.
• Maintaining high standards of CQC compliance, governance and quality assurance.
• Managing delivery and mobilisation of commissioned care packages including hospital discharge packages.
• Ensuring staffing levels and processes support safe and effective care.

Registered Manager Responsibilities:

• Leading the day-to-day operations of an established domiciliary care service.
• Managing and developing the office and care teams, promoting a positive culture while ensuring strong performance, accountability and continuity of care.
• Maintaining high standards of CQC compliance, governance and quality assurance.
• Managing the delivery and mobilisation of commissioned care packages, including hospital discharge packages.
• Ensuring staffing levels and operational processes support the safe and effective delivery of care.
• Taking a hands-on approach and supporting the wider team when required.
• Building strong relationships with commissioners, healthcare professionals and other external stakeholders to support the continued growth and development of the service.

Registered Manager Requirements:

• Experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care, managing a service of a similar scale.
• Confident managing and developing an established office and care team.
• Strong operational leadership skills with a hands-on management style.
• NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle.
