Location: Gateshead, Tyne and Wear (purpose-built home in a parkland setting, close to Gateshead Town Centre and a Metro station)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (including bonus)
Service: Children's Home
Service Users: Children and young people aged 8-18 (all genders), Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
The Home:
Number of beds: 6 (maximum Ofsted registration)
Ofsted rating: Good
Accommodation: 5 en-suite bedrooms plus 1 annex (used to support independence and transition planning)
Facilities & setting: New, purpose-built service with large bedrooms, spacious communal areas, outdoor playing area, and an attached individual apartment to support transition to independence. Set on a two-acre parkland site with good access to local amenities (shops, leisure facilities, GP, dental surgery) and transport links.
