CareTech is seeking a Registered Manager to join The Bungalow in Plymouth, leading care for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. You will hold full operational and regulatory responsibility, drive quality, and foster a positive culture focused on outcomes and person-centred care.

You will manage budgets, oversee staffing, and ensure high regulatory standards, with emphasis on governance, audits, and continuous improvement in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Manager experience within adult social care.
• Level 5 Health & Social Care (or working towards).
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
• Experience managing teams and driving high performance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with CQC and regulatory standards.
• Lead audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement plans.
• Maintain safe, effective, and person-centred care delivery.

Job description

Registered Manager to join our service in Plymouth, providing care and support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. As the Registered Manager, you will have full operational and regulatory responsibility for the service. You will lead high-performing teams, drive quality and compliance, and ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care at all times. You will play a key role in developing positive service cultures, maintaining high standards, and ensuring excellent outcomes for the people we support. About the Service - The Bungalow The Bungalow is a registered residential home for 6 adults with learning disability, physical disability, epilepsy and sensory needs. Person centred care is very important to us at The Bungalow. As a team, we focus on the abilities of the people we support and promote learning of new skills, thereby promoting independence and an improved quality of life. We have an open culture where staff feel safe to challenge bad practise, learn from mistakes, share knowledge and lessons learnt. The people we support are involved in the day-to-day running of their home.,
