Job summary

The Registered Manager role is based in Carlisle at a brand-new 4-bed children's home for boys with emotional and behavioural difficulties and learning disabilities. You will lead the Ofsted registration process and the opening, then steer ongoing service development with a focus on safeguarding and high-quality care.

An award-winning children's services provider is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to take the lead on a brand-new 4-bed children's home in Carlisle.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the service at the start of its journey, taking responsibility for the Ofsted registration and opening of the home, before leading its day-to-day development.

About the role

As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the opening, registration and ongoing management of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance.

The home will support boys with emotional and behavioural difficulties and learning disabilities, so we are looking for someone with strong children's residential experience and a genuine passion for supporting young people with complex needs.

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager or strong Deputy Manager ready to step up, with a good understanding of Ofsted, safeguarding and children's residential care.
