We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to join a new 4-bed children's residential home located in Carlisle, CA2, supporting boys with emotional and behavioural difficulties and learning disabilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced children's residential professional to take responsibility for the registration and development of a brand-new home. As the home is new, the successful candidate will need to be confident working through the registration process and establishing the service from the ground up.
This role is suitable for candidates commuting from Carlisle, Penrith, Workington, Wigton, Brampton and surrounding areas.
As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day to day management of the home, ensuring the service provides safe, nurturing and high quality care while meeting all relevant safeguarding, regulatory and organisational requirements.
You will lead and develop the staff team, oversee care planning and risk management, monitor the quality of care being provided and ensure the home operates in line with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
You will play a key role in developing a positive culture within the home, ensuring the needs, wishes and feelings of the children remain at the centre of everything the service does.
You will also work closely with the wider professional network, including social workers, families, education providers and other agencies, to ensure children receive consistent and appropriate support.
