Job summary

Domus Recruitment is assisting a Scotland-based franchise to launch a brand-new homecare service in Glasgow. We seek a Registered Manager to lead the development from day one, delivering safe, high-quality domiciliary care and an assisted living element.

You will build relationships with Glasgow City Council, recruit and develop staff, drive growth across private and NHS referrals, and ensure robust compliance with CQC standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager or Care Manager within domiciliary care.
• Proven experience in service turnaround, stabilisation or performance improvement.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance frameworks.
• SVQ Level 4 in Care Services Leadership and Management (SCQF Level 10) or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Leading day-to-day operations of the development, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care.
• Establishing relationships with Glasgow City Council and local stakeholders.
• Managing and developing office and care staff, promoting stability and retention.
• Overseeing recruitment activity, including sponsorship-heavy workforce.
• Embedding leadership, culture and accountability across the branch.
• Identifying opportunities for business growth across private and NHS referrals.
• Ensuring full compliance with CQC standards and governance processes.

Registered Manager Responsibilities:

• Leading the day-to-day operations of the development, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care of a growing domiciliary service and a small, assisted living service.
• Establishing relationships with Glasgow City Council and other local stakeholders.
• Managing and developing office and care staff, promoting stability and retention.
• Overseeing recruitment activity, particularly within a sponsorship-heavy workforce.
• Embedding strong leadership, culture and accountability across the branch.
• Identifying opportunities for business growth across private and NHS referral streams.
• Ensuring full compliance with CQC standards and improving governance processes.

Registered Manager Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager or Care Manager within domiciliary care.
• Proven experience in service turnaround, stabilisation or performance improvement.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance frameworks.
• SVQ Level 4 in Care Services Leadership and Management at SCQF Level 10 (or working towards).
• Full UK Driving Licence with access to own vehicle.
