Job summary

A deputy or Registered Manager position is available at a flagship private domiciliary care provider in Sheffield. The role focuses on day-to-day management, driving growth from 1,600 to 2,000 hours per week, and maintaining high standards of care and regulatory compliance.

You will lead the office and care teams, recruit and develop staff, build relationships with clients and healthcare professionals, and support business development while ensuring robust care plans and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or experienced Deputy Manager within domiciliary care.
• Strong operational knowledge of running a busy homecare service.
• Experience managing and developing large care teams.
• Commercially minded with experience growing or developing a domiciliary care service.
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations, compliance and quality assurance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop a stable, high-performing team.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the domiciliary care service.
• Lead the continued growth of the branch from approximately 1,600 to 2,000 hours of care per week.
• Maintain high standards of care, compliance and service delivery across the branch.
• Provide strong leadership and direction to the office and care teams.
• Drive staff recruitment, retention, engagement and development.
• Monitor branch performance against operational and commercial targets.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, families and local healthcare professionals.
• Support business development and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
• Ensure care plans, risk assessments, audits and quality assurance processes remain robust and up to date.
• Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy or Registered Manager to join an flagship private domiciliary care provider in Sheffield. This is a key leadership position within a busy branch currently delivering around 1600 private hours of care per week across South Yorkshire and the Gainsborough area.

The service has recently entered a new chapter under the leadership of an Area Director with a strong background in private homecare franchising. They are committed to providing the incoming Registered Manager with hands on senior support and the resources needed to succeed.
