An established charity seeks a Registered Manager to lead a residential short breaks centre for children with disabilities. Location: Banbury
Salary: Up to £50,400 per annum plus £750 on-call allowance – depending on experience and qualifications.
Contract/Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week, generally Monday to Friday with some flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
Role Overview: As Registered Manager, you will have the opportunity to advance your career by creating a highly professional setting that provides a warm, nurturing home environment for young people.
The service is a residential short breaks centre for children and young people aged 5 to 18 years with severe, profound, or multiple learning and/or physical disabilities and complex health care needs.
You will lead, inspire, and motivate your team to hold high aspirations for the young people. You will liaise closely with Ofsted to ensure regulatory compliance and excellence, creating a safe environment. You will be responsible for fostering a positive culture across the service, working alongside an experienced team to provide high-quality care and transform young people's lives. Your role involves working closely with families, health, education, and social care partners to provide comprehensive support.
Candidate Requirements: Substantial management experience in residential care or equivalent, and a NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children’s Services, or willingness to work towards this qualification within 2 years.
