Job summary

Priory is seeking a Registered Manager for Gateholme in Wakefield. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with occasional on-call, overseeing budgets, quality and compliance to deliver outstanding care for residents with learning disabilities and complex needs.

You will lead a compassionate team, develop individual care plans and work with stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes, ensuring a safe, dignified and person-centred environment.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Manager for 35+ beds with complex behaviours and learning disability.
• Experience with older people if evidenced with complex dementia.
• Enthusiastic, energetic and comfortable in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the home, high standards of care and compliance.
• Lead, support, and develop team to deliver person-centred care.
• Support assessment and implementation of individual care plans.
• Ensure a safe, positive environment, promoting dignity, wellbeing and independence.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve best outcomes.

Full Time - 37.5 hours which will include occasional on call.

Gateholme is set in the lovely countryside surroundings of Carr Gate, in Wakefield. Our home offers residential support for 39 males and females with a variety of needs, including individuals with a learning disability, autistic people, and those with complex needs.

In addition to people with a learning disability, and autistic individuals, we also support those who have/are:

• Physical disabilities
• Dementia
• A personality disorder
• Mental health needs
• Mild to moderate behaviours that challenge
• Older adults

As the CQC Registered Manager at Priory, you will take overall responsibility for the home, overseeing all areas including budgets, quality, compliance, and the delivery of outstanding care. You will support and inspire your team to ensure residents receive the highest standards of care, helping them achieve their goals, develop skills, gain confidence, and engage in meaningful activities within the community.

What you'll bring to the role

• You must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or be working towards it
• You have been a manager for 35 + beds with complex behaviours and learning disability
• We can also consider someone with older people experience if they could evidence experience with complex dementia
• You will be enthusiastic, energetic and comfortable working in a fast pace environment
